Certifee Hosts the Sixth Edition of FFCW in São Paulo

On September 17, the Meliá Ibirapuera Hotel in São Paulo hosted the sixth edition of FFCW, Feeding the World, one of the most relevant meetings on food safety, animal nutrition and sector regulation. The event was promoted by Certifee Consultoria and supported by major national and international companies, including special sponsorship from Bextral, from the Netherlands, a reference in innovative solutions for the feed industry.

A day of strategic debates

With an intensive and diverse agenda, the event brought together specialists, auditors, consultants and company representatives who are shaping the future of the feed and food production chain.

The morning began with high-level technical presentations, such as:

• HACCP from the GMP+ FSA perspective, conducted by GMP+ International, reinforcing the importance of hazard management and international standardization

• How the auditor evaluates hazard analysis in feed and pet food companies, with SGS Brazil, bringing practical insights on audits

• Transport and chartering certification, presented by Control Union Brazil, highlighting challenges and opportunities in the logistics sector

• HACCP and the new MAPA decree, by Certifee Consultoria, explaining changes and regulatory implications

• discussions led by Sindirações and DNV on MAPA Decree No. 12,031 and the main nonconformities identified in audits

Innovation, management and afternoon challenges

In the afternoon, the focus shifted to technology and management. The highlight was the presentation of the Gemba Digital Platform (AGPR5), showing how digital transformation can support operational efficiency. Another key moment was the discussion on Salmonella control in the feed industry, led by Bextral, the event’s official sponsor, together with AGPR5.
